"Was disappointed at the additional cost. What was a £45 booking had an additional £10 as I accidentally booked the wrong date & corrected within 48hours. Then had to add an additional stop at the cargo side of the airport that cost an additional £18 cash only & of course the driver does not have change for a 20 pound note. So, £75 for a lift to the airport is ridiculous! Will not be booking with you again."

I asked for the £55 refund and Abdul then tried to barter the refund starting at £5 then £20, then £30 I insisted that the quote given was the only acceptable refund, can’t believe that you tried to cheat me like that. Then I was told that the refund would take 3/5 days, no reason for that it’s a credit card, my payment was instant as should a refund. To be honest I could have got an e class from my local taxi firm at half the price. "

"AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! Pre-booked and pre-paid my Taxi Transfer from Alton Towers Hotel to Manchester Airport. Booked for 6pm to arrive around 7.10pm in Manchester. I contacted the office at 6.08, after a brief call with my driver who was ASKING ME for directions and told me he was at the Hilton Hotel... The reception refused to answer any of my calls and tried to fob me off saying how big the Alton Towers resort was. There are only two hotels in Alton Towers, both 1 minute from one another. The service is absolutely disgraceful, just another double booking and money hungry people. My partner booked another taxi that day through this service at 3pm which arrived on time, the driver said that he wasn't even supposed to be here it was his day off, that they double book and fob off the customers saying they are 10 minutes away or their car broke down. Absolute SCAMMERS!!! If you have any sense you wouldn't go near this service. My taxi arrived at 7.08 and I almost missed my flight, which I would have most definitely been claiming back through expenses courtesy of TaxiCode. "

"The driver did not arrive and sent no message to my phone. Initially we could get no response from the number provided on the Taxicode message on my email (it was just after 2.30am). We then spent half an hour trying to find out what was happening and looking for alternative transport. Just after 3am I was able to talk to an operator who was very helpful. He found out that the car had broken down and got us a new driver who arrived promptly after about 3-4 minutes. The driver was helpful and my wife and daugher were able to leave quickly for Manchester airport. With the lack of communication from the initial driver, we could easily have ended up with my wife and daughter missing their flight at Manchester. "

"We booked to get picked up at the festival for 12:00 am. The driver then told us we had to walk the entire length of the road which took 30mins to a restaurant called Bengal Tiger Lily. He then didn't arrive till around 12:45 and we were left sat in the cold after telling us he was already there and waiting when I could see on his live location he was miles away. This is because he double booked himself with another pick up and was in the middle of Manchester when he should've been at our pick up location! When he finally picked us up he took a wrong turn and told us 'we didn't even know our own address' when he should've known this after pre-booking this taxi two weeks prior! Awful experience. I would appreciate if someone reached out to me regarding this."

"I got a phone call the night before my flight at 830pm saying that they quoted the wrong mileage and wanted more money knowing that trying to arrange another cab for 7am the next morning was near impossible at that time of night if you were to refuse the extra charge. Car seats looked like there had been a party of drunks in the back dirt everywhere. They stopped at the petrol station halfway to the airport for fuel for the vehicle. If I could upload photos of the car and pull up for fuel I would just to prove it I would say AVOID at all costs Honestly, RIDE X needs to sort your drivers out and cars "

Calling number provided by GO CAB but impossible to hear or make sense of anything, help desk at airport also called, same problem line terrible. I receive phone calls from GO CAB from Romania & Slovakia & Prievidza, can't understand anything, on fifth call I'm told to walk 20 mins, in the rain with heavy luggage to some meeting point where people are waiting for their Uber cabs. I arrive soaked from the rain stressed & exhausted from travelling since 5am questioning the driver about the lack of information & lack of communication only to be told he is not taking me anywhere and simply leaves. Called again and was informed that another car on its way but never showed up. Up to 3 hours at airport trying to get home, until I took a black cab, paying AGAIN for my journey. I am entitled to a FULL REFUND and not a word from GO CAB. The worst experience, have never known such deceitful uncaring rude not mentioning untrustworthy & incompetent service provider. AVOID this company like the plague, if you want to get to your destination in peace, safely & on time."
